Nusrat Jahan Biography
Nusrat Jahan who is regarded as one of the most popular Bengali actresses, as well as a successful politician, was born on 8th January to a Muslim family in West Bengal India. By profession, she is a television actress, model, film actress as well as a politician who is famous for her acting skills in Bengali and south Indian films and also made her name in the Tollywood industry through them. She got fame from her debut Bengali film “Khokha 420” released in the year 2013. She takes part in the election from the TMC party and is recently elected from the Basirhat constituency as MP for Trinamool Congress in the 17th Lok Sabha. In the year 2020, she was crowned the Fair-One Miss Kolkata title.

Nusrat Jahan started her career in the year 2010 through different modeling events, from which she achieved the title of “Fair One Miss Kolkata 2010”. From this, she got fame and started acting in Bengali films. She made her debut of acting in the year 2011 from the film Shotru. Later she appeared in a variety of south Indian and Bengali films and made her mark in the Tollywood industry as the most beautiful actress. Then she entered politics and in the year 2019 on 12th March, it was announced by President of Trinamool Congress Party Mamata Banerjee as well as West Bengal chief minister that Nusrat Jahan would stand in the general elections from the side of Basirhat constituency.
