Denmarkbased Corti.ai 27m, a Copenaghen, Denmark-based business that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to enhance patient interactions, has raised $27 million in Series A funding.
Vaekstfonden and Chr. Augustinus Fabrik took the lead in the round, which also included Hearcore, Id Invest, and byFounders.
The company plans to use the money to grow operations, introduce new products, speed up growth, and expand its market reach, increasing the number of patient consultations from 15 to 100 million annually.
In order to assist healthcare professionals during patient consultations, Corti.ai offers a software platform that makes use of artificial intelligence. The company was founded in 2016 by CEO Andreas Cleve and CTO Lars Maale. Its machine learning technology has the ability to listen in on patient consultations while simultaneously documenting, coding, and ensuring the interaction’s quality. Corti initially supported cardiac arrest and COVID-19 cases during emergency calls while working in emergency medicine, but he has subsequently transitioned into aiding medical personnel during consultations across the healthcare system.
