Cynet, a supplier of an autonomous XDR platform situated in Boston, Massachusetts, closed a $40 million Series C fundraising.
Leading the round were Greenfield Partners, with participation from prior investors Deutsche Telekom, Norwest Venture Partners, Vintage Investment Partners, and BlueRed Partners.
The company plans to use the money to increase its market share in North America and Europe.
Cynet, led by Co-Founder and CEO Eyal Gruner, offers an Autonomous Breach Protection platform that integrates cross-layered detection and response (XDR) endpoint, user, and network attack prevention and detection capabilities with an incident engine that completely automates investigation and remediation actions, supported by a 24/7 Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service.
The business also declares that Chris Roberts, a researcher in cybersecurity, would work for it as its Chief Security Strategist. Roberts will use his 20+ years of security knowledge to help and direct businesses of all sizes wishing to consolidate and automate their cyber-security products and services.
