What is Google Stadia?

An option that will not be limited to the video platform, since it will also be available in various services, such as social networks.
As we said at the beginning, Stadia is not based on a console, but it does use a special controller: the Stadia Controller , whose appearance reminds us a lot of Xbox One controls . It includes two joysticks in the central area, a crosshead on the left, four front buttons, side buttons and triggers. The truth is that the controller itself is optional (you can play with the keyboard, mouse or any USB controller), however, it includes a few things that differentiate it from other controllers and make it very useful:
WiFi connection
The first place because it has WiFi and connects directly to the Google data center, which makes the experience with minimal latency and higher performance . In addition, this makes it possible to change devices without having to link the controller to the new one.
Bonus buttons
And, secondly, the two extra buttons that it includes. One of them is a button to share images of the game at a resolution of up to 4K, which is accompanied by a microphone to facilitate communication with other users. All this allows, for example, to follow the broadcast of a specific gamer and jump directly to that game.
The other is a Google Assistant button , whose function is to activate various functions and get help from the same remote. If you get stuck in a level, you just have to press this button and Google Assistant will offer you tips or videos on how to overcome it.

November 2019 is the expected date for the launch of Google Stadia in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and some European countries (including Spain).
Regarding prices, the company offers several possibilities:
Google Stadia Base – This is the free version which, as you might expect, is limited in some features and doesn’t have access to the platform’s library of free games. Its service level is 1080 pixels at 60 FPS with stereo sound.
Google Stadia Pro : for 9.9 euros per month, you will have 4K HDR image quality, 5.1 surround audio and access to the entire catalog of Google Stadia games. The command can be purchased separately for 69 euros.
Google Stadia Founder’s Edition : its price is 129 euros , and includes three months of subscription, a three-month trial pass for a friend and the video game Destiny 2: The Collection . Plus, it comes with the Stadia Controller and a Chromecast Ultra.
