Shares 40m series valar, an investment app with social elements based in London, UK, raised $40M in Series A funding.
Valar Ventures, Singular, and Global Founders Capital were among the sponsors. The deal brings the startup’s total financing to $50m.
The company plans to utilise the money to broaden operations and clientele.

It was co-founded by Benjamin Chemla, Chief Executive Officer, François Ruty, Chief Technology Officer, and Harjas Singh, Chief Product Officer. Over 130 full-time staff have been employed by the company in the past nine months, and its first three offices—in London, Paris, and Krakow—have all been opened.
