A global leader in next-generation job search platforms, Talent.com is situated in Montreal, Canada, and recently secured $120 million in Series B funding.
Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), an existing investor, and new investors Investissement Québec, Climb Ventures, BDC Capital, Fondaction, and HarbourVest Partners also participated in the round, which was led by Inovia Capital. With the addition of $30 million in fresh debt financing from the Technology & Innovation Banking Group at BMO Financial Group, the total amount of recent investments now stands at $150 million US.
The company plans to use the funds to scale its newest solutions for SMBs and further expand its user-centric, programmatic job search platform by increasing the relevance and effectiveness of the job search experience for job seekers, adding new team members globally, investing in product development, and building its brand.
